Belarus and Tianjin to implement joint economic projects

Belarus and Chinese Tianjin will implement joint economic projects, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in China. “These issues were considered during an online conference on the development of economic cooperation between Belarus and the city of central subordination of Tianjin and the implementation of interregional projects,” the foreign office said. “The event was organized within the framework of the implementation of agreements between First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov and the CPC Party Committee Secretary Tianjin Li Hongzhong on the establishment of Belarusian-Chinese joint ventures in Tianjin, as well as registration of pharmaceutical companies from the PRC in the Great Stone Industrial Park.


The online meeting was organized by the Belarusian Embassy in the PRC and the Foreign Affairs Department of the Tianjin People's Government. Participants - representatives of the Minsk and Mogilev regional executive committees, Tianjin municipal commissions for development and reforms, agriculture and rural development, Tianjin Trade Bureau, Tianjin Industry and Trade Federation, the leadership of the Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park, Slutsk cheese-making plant, Bobruisk Meat Processing Plant, Vakhavyak Plus LLC, Tianjin Food Corporation, Vcanbio Cellular and Genetic Engineering Corporation.

During the event, a presentation was organized for the Chinese side of the Great Stone industrial park, as well as the Slutsk cheese-making plant, the Bobruisk meat processing plant, and Vakhavyak Plus LLC. In addition, partners from the Chinese side were identified to implement the planned projects.
