Upgraded combat vehicles will make the potential aggressor think

22.04.2021. What can make a potential aggressor think: is it worth attacking this country? Moral principles, perhaps? Unlikely. Then international agreements? Unfortunately, they are not always observed. And practice shows that the most effective deterrent to aggression is the presence of modern, powerful, high-precision weapons, which, if anything, can cause irreparable damage to the enemy. Well, foreign customers will be able to get one of the types of such weapons at their disposal if they turn to one of the enterprises of the Belarusian State Military Industry – JSC "2566 Plant for the repair of electronic weapons", where two combat vehicles, which have proven themselves since Soviet times, are upgraded to the level of the highest modern requirements.

In many countries of the world, BM-21 and 9A33BM2(3) combat vehicles are in service. Developed by the Soviet military-industrial complex, these weapons have proven themselves well over the years, thanks to their high, for their time, tactical and technical data, as well as exceptional reliability and ease of operation.

However, time does not stand still. And in order to meet the requirements for the most modern world-class weapons, modernization is necessary. Well, the highly professional team of the Belarusian enterprise – JSC "2566 plant for the repair of radio - electronic weapons" - coped with this task successfully. Today, representatives of the Belarusian defense industry can offer their customers the following types of modernization of the famous combat vehicles.

Repair and modernization of combat vehicles BM-21 up to the level BM-21B.

The customer will receive the following due BM-21B variant: possibility to increase the carried ammunition up to 100 missiles; decrease the number of transport-loading vehicles; decrease the number of members from combat crew up to 4 persons; new MAZ-631708 chassis with increase cruise range up to 1000 km; new set of communication and data transfer equipment.

Repair and modernization of combat vehicles 9A33BM2(3) up to the level 9A33-2B.  

Variant BM 9A33-2B has the following: increase of target detection range up to 52 km;            decrease of error possibility in target detection due to azimuth and range; possibility of automatic target tracking with optical channel; increased number of simultaneously tracking air targets – up to 35; new chassis MAZ-6317; on-board simulator; possibility of data records; control of SAM control circuit by method “electronic shoot”.
