JSC "Forging Plant of Heavy Stampings" manufactures and sells gear forgings. These are high-strength metal blanks produced by hot die forging. They serve as intermediate blanks for subsequent machining to produce finished gears with a gear ring. Forgings ensure excellent mechanical properties and reliability of the final part. Gear forgings are the optimal starting point for the production of critical components operating under high loads, impacts, and alternating stresses. Compared to blanks produced by casting or directly machined from rolled stock, forged gears offer: high strength and impact toughness; a uniform, dense structure; increased wear resistance; better fatigue characteristics; and material savings.
