The history of JSC StankoGomel begins with the founding of a small iron foundry in 1885 on the outskirts of Gomel. In Soviet times, the plant (then the Gomel Machine Tool Manufacturing Association named after S. M. Kirov) actively exported its products to 58 countries of the world, including the USA, Australia, countries of Western Europe, Asia, Latin America. In 2010, the company was transformed into OJSC StankoGomel, which mastered the production of a wide range of modern vertical and horizontal machining centers with CNC types BYVER, SGV, BYHOR and SGH.
