EK-1 fire-retardant is designed for fire protection of wood products, as well as for protection against mold, wood-staining, and wood-destroying fungi. Application: for treating new and previously treated roof structures, exposed and concealed roofing, sheathing, attics, walls, partitions, and log buildings in residential, public, industrial, and agricultural buildings. Not suitable for use on surfaces previously coated with drying oil, paint, varnish, or other film-forming and water-repellent materials. Advantages: makes wood flame-retardant at a minimum consumption of 0.22 l/m² and ensures fire protection efficiency group II; makes wood flame-retardant at a minimum consumption of 0.48 l/m² and ensures fire protection efficiency group I; fire protection efficiency retention period is 5 years; protects against mold, wood-staining and wood-destroying fungi; belongs to hazard class 4 (low-hazard substances) according to GOST 12.1.007-76; water-soluble, fully retains its properties after freezing and thawing.
