EUROBAND VL(a) tape is a ready-to-use product. No special tools are required for installing EUROBAND VL(a) tape. Before installing the tape, clear the window opening of any construction debris, dust, or ice. If necessary, treat the wall surface with a primer. Apply the tape tightly along its entire length. Overlap the tape sections. It is recommended to apply the tape until the foam has fully expanded.
EUROBAND VL(a) is a vapor barrier tape designed for sealing the joints between a window (door) unit and a wall opening indoors. Thanks to its moisture- and vapor-impermeable properties, EUROBAND VL(a) internal window tape is ideal for insulating the inner layer of the mounting joint and can be installed on virtually any type of mounting surface. EUROBAND VL(a) internal vapor barrier tape is made from a metallized film laminated with a high-strength non-woven fabric. The non-woven fabric ensures optimal adhesion to plaster, putty mortar, and adhesives. The tape has two adhesive mounting strips on one (custom-made) or both sides. One strip is made of mesh-reinforced acrylic adhesive, and the other is made of high-quality butyl rubber with high tack.
