After several facilities have been built, Russian partners say with confidence that Belarusians build well. Belarusian civil engineering companies have preserved design traditions since the Soviet times. The Belarusian civil engineering industry develops and modernizes construction companies. “On the whole, our specialists are competitive abroad and are ready to realize the largest projects. This is why there are great prospects for Belarusian construction companies in Russia. And we should wisely exploit the opportunity,” the architecture and construction minister said.
According to Ruslan Parkhamovich, the Architecture and Construction Ministry intends to upscale investment schemes to allow Belarusian construction companies to penetrate the Russian market. “Because the investment experience is more than successful. We use our own money to build a facility and then sell essentially a ready-made facility to the customer,” he stated. “Apart from that, Grodno construction companies, which are no longer needed at the Belarusian nuclear power plant construction site, can build five waste processing plants in Russia's Republic of Dagestan. The commercial offer has already been sent.”
As for future cooperation with Voronezh Oblast, Ruslan Parkhamovich noted that Belarusian companies will begin reconstructing the city's key football stadium and building an educational center for 2,560 students in this city. The center will be Russia's largest. The official stressed that these construction projects are funded by the federal budget and the municipal budget and that the Belarusian construction companies had won open tenders by demonstrating their competence on the Russian market.
