ViaCon Technologies Company offers new generation technologies for reconstruction of small and medium bridges

11.04.2022. Currently, a large number of small and medium-sized bridges made of precast concrete in Belarus need reconstruction or major repairs. ViaCon Technologies LLC offers to reconstruct artificial structures of this kind using metal corrugated spiral pipes of round and arch cross-sections of large diameters / spans of its own Belarusian production. Thus, instead of reconstructing the existing structure with the replacement of superstructures, supports, crossbars and the roadway, a round or arched section pipe will be arranged while maintaining the necessary throughput.

The structure arranged according to such technology gets an aesthetic appearance, high reliability and loses many negative aspects of the old design. One of such moments is the absence of deformation seams and the need for their maintenance.

The main advantages of this method are as follows:

 low estimated cost of construction;

 simplicity and speed of work;

 no need to block traffic;

 the absence of heavy lifting equipment in need;

 the possibility of carrying out work in winter;

 significant reduction in the cost of subsequent maintenance of artificial structures: 3 times (!) for a period of 20 years compared with precast concrete solutions.

Our production line allows us to produce round-section pipes with a diameter of up to 4.0 m, with a single-point pipe capacity of up to 35 m3/s and arched pipes with a width of up to 3.52 m, with a single-point arched pipe capacity of up to 28 m3/s.

Thanks to such production capabilities, the technical solutions of ViaCon Technologies LLC can be used in the reconstruction of single-span and multi-span small and medium bridges.
