Polyurethane foam-insulated pipelines enable: a 10-fold reduction in heat loss (from 30-35% to 2-3%) compared to traditional materials; an increased pipeline service life of 30 years or more; complete elimination of pipeline damage from external corrosion when using the ODK system; a 15-20% reduction in capital costs, a 9-fold reduction in operating costs, and a 3-fold reduction in repair costs; a 9-10-fold reduction in annual coolant operating costs; elimination of stray currents (significant reduction in metal corrosion); installation in any environment (sand, swamp, water); reduction in heat loss to 2% of the transported heat; and reduced repair time. PI pipes and PI fittings are manufactured in diameters from 25 to 720 mm.
Brestzhilstroy Utility Unitary Enterprise manufactures modern pipelines insulated with polyurethane foam in polyethylene and galvanized casings, equipped with a remote operational monitoring system (ROMS). PI pipes and PI fittings in polyethylene casings (used for underground trenchless installation) and galvanized steel casings (used for aboveground installation) are used for the construction of heating networks with a constant coolant temperature of 120ºC, as well as heating networks operating on a high-quality control schedule with coolant temperatures up to 150ºC.
