The Louis Philippe furniture collection is produced by the Belarusian factory Dobrushdrev LLC in a classic French style using 100% solid alder wood and comprises over 100 pieces. The collection features furniture for the bedroom, living room, family room, and hallway, all in a unified classic style and finished using a unique "rubber-on" finish. Alder has long been considered the Russian mahogany. In its natural state, the wood has a warm pinkish hue, a beautiful texture, and a silky surface. At the same time, it stains and processes well, lending itself to a wide variety of design solutions. Louis Philippe furniture is a classic French style with elements of bourgeois minimalism, characterized by simple forms, understated elegance, and a lack of excessive decoration. The natural beauty of the wood grain is enhanced by a protective staining coating, applied by hand using a "rubbing" method. Some elements use a composite structure—a very delicate process requiring professionalism and meticulous craftsmanship. The aging effect can be enhanced upon request by imitating the work of a woodworm beetle.
The MO 06.10 chest of drawers is a simple and practical chest of drawers in the classic Louis Philippe style, crafted in a form typical of this style. Its rounded top panel creates a clean silhouette, while the paneled sides complete the neat look, with the only playful detail being the wavy cut between the lower uprights. The chest of drawers features three deep, easy-to-open drawers equipped with wooden stoppers, minimizing strain on the miniature handles. The drawers are approximately half a meter deep, providing ample storage for household items, personal linens, bedding, clothing, and leisure items. The two top drawers are designed for storing papers and small items, while jewelry and other accessories are comfortably housed in the small central drawers.
