Belarus and China consider holding investment forum in Hong Kong

30.08.2019. Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy met with Director of the Hong Kong special administrative region government Office in Beijing Liang John, the Belarusian Embassy in China reported. The sides discussed areas of cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian spheres. In addition, they discussed the possibility of holding a Belarusian-Asian investment forum. It is expected that it may be scheduled for later this year and will take place in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong special administrative region of the people's Republic of China is one of the leading financial centers of Asia and the world. Hong Kong is located on the Kowloon Peninsula, from the West, South and East washed by the South China sea, as well as on more than 260 Islands, the largest of which are Hong Kong (the location of the Supreme authorities and the financial center of the territory), Lantau and lamma. In the North, Hong Kong borders the Shenzhen special economic zone within the Chinese province of Guangdong.
