Belarus received $3.6 billion of investments in the first quarter

16.05.2018. Foreign investors invested $ 3.6 billion in the real sector of Belarus in the first quarter of 2018. This was reported on the website of Belstat. At the same time, it is noted that 40.4% of investments came from entities of the Russian Federation, from the United Kingdom of great Britain and Northern Ireland – 22.5%, from Cyprus – 10% of investments.


From the Republic of Belarus from January to March 2018, $1.5 billion was sent abroad.Belarusian organizations sent 78.2% of all investments to the Russian Federation, 9% to Ukraine, 5.2% to the United Kingdom of great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The share of direct investments accounted for 94.2 percent of all targeted investments abroad.
