Belarus has prepared standard projects for buildings using electricity

12.07.2019. Belarus has developed an album of standard design solutions for heating and hot water supply systems for residential buildings using electricity. It is posted on the website of the Ministry of construction and architecture. The information was prepared by specialists of the Ataev Institute NIPTIS.


The album contains proposals for both already built objects and those that are at the design stage. Requirements (including sanitary and hygienic) to household electric heating devices and electric boilers are formulated, schemes of possible variants of heat supply (centralized, decentralized, combined) are designated.

As explained by the head of the main Department of urban planning, design, scientific, technical and innovation policy of the Ministry of architecture and construction Olga Veramey, the development of standard projects took into account the experience of Russia, leading design organizations of Belarus, manufacturers of equipment for electric boilers. The album is Advisory in nature, it may be amended after the adjustment of the existing technical regulations.

Also Olga Veramey informed that the approved allowance for the calculation of electrical loads for residential buildings technical code.

The first house in the Republic with an increased share of electricity in the energy balance was built in Minsk in 2007. Then, similar buildings were erected in other cities. In the future, the country plans to mainly build houses where electricity is used for heating, water heating (except for the zones of thermal power plants, gasified areas with power reserve).
