Belarusian developer is among the largest IT businesses in Russia

05.06.2018. Belarusian software developer and distributor Itransition is included in the ranking of the largest businesses operating in the Russian market of information and communication technologies. The company, established in 1998 by Sergei Gvardeytsev, took 22nd place in this list in 2017. According to the authors of the study — rating Agency "Expert RA", Itransition's revenue during the last year increased by 3.5% (up to 3.167 billion Russian rubles), which allowed the developer to rise in the ranking on one line. Directly in the field of software development, the it company's revenue amounted to 2,105 billion Russian rubles-this is the 10th figure in the Russian market.


The Central office and the main center of Itransition development is located in Minsk. Since the late 2000s, the company has been actively developing in the us market (opened offices in Austin and Denver), becoming one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America. In the mid-2010s, Itransition strengthened its presence in the EU market, and in 2017 announced the opening of a new development center. It will be located in St. Petersburg, in 2018 the number of its employees is planned to increase to 100 people.

The leaders of the Russian market of information and communication technologies were (as well as last year) the national computer Corporation and the holding company "LANIT". Revenue National computer Corporation was $ 161,271 billion Russian rubles, "Lanita" — 118, 094 billion Russian rubles. In third place in the 2017 rose group Softline (66,583 billion Russian rubles).
