Regarding the plans for the construction of the second stage of the joint venture, he noted that preliminary agreements were reached on the provision of a transition period of 18 months. "In Vietnam, the legislation has changed, today the intergovernmental Commission will consider the issue of providing a transition period. The legislation has significantly increased the requirements for localization and technological operations. Additional investments are needed to comply with the new rules. Previously, the government has met us halfway and for the joint venture "MAZ-Asia" will give such a transition period, " explained the General Director of MAZ.

The trucks produced at the plant are planned to be delivered not only to the market of Vietnam, but also to Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries of the region.

The second project on the creation of a joint venture for the production of passenger equipment is also being considered. "Currently, we are considering the possibility of creating a joint venture with the participation of Belarusian capital.
