Saudi oil begins to flow to Naftan

The first train with oil from the national oil company of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Aramco, will arrive at the Naftan refinery today, BelTA learned from Alexander Tishchenko, Belneftekhim press secretary. “This afternoon the first train with Saudi oil will arrive from Klaipeda to Naftan. The train consists of 60 tanks. The volume is 3,600 tons,” said Alexander Tishchenko. As reported, the tanker delivered to the port of Klaipeda 87 thousand tons of oil for Belarus. In the future, the possibility of oil supplies from Saudi Aramco will depend on the situation on the market, Belneftekhim noted.


This year, Belarus also purchased Norwegian and Azerbaijani oil for its refineries with transshipment in the ports of Lithuania and Ukraine, respectively. In early June, a tanker with 80 thousand tons of Bakken American oil should come to the port of Klaipeda .-
