Self-propelled mulcher from Mogilev company "Stroyremavto" is one of the most effective solutions for clearing objects from wood and shrub vegetation.
The cycle of work of the self-propelled mulcher is similar to the one of the mounted mulcher: trees and bushes are cut, then the wood chips are milled and mixed with the top layer of soil to protect the soil from erosion. At the same time, the area on which it was working remains free of vegetation.
It is self-propelled mulchers that have the highest passability and productivity. An important feature of the self-propelled mulcher is the availability of crawler undercarriage, which allows to work effectively on the most difficult and relief sites.
In order to perform the clearing of objects in the most difficult conditions UFS "Stroyremavto" developed a self-propelled mulcher URS-300 (on the photo).
The scope of the self-propelled mulcher includes:
- shredding of bushes, stumps and trees during firebreaks;
- land clearing in the gas and oil sector;
- vegetation control on power lines, railway embankments, and main highways;
- restoration of fields on abandoned areas;
- clearing of areas after logging;
- loosening the soil before planting new trees with simultaneous removal of old stumps and roots.
Main technical characteristics of this self-propelled model: maximum diameter of cut vegetation, mm - 350; curb weight (not more), kg - 13 450; overall dimensions in transport position (length with winch x width x height), mm - 6 700 x 2 500 x 2 870; working width, mm - 2 160; mass, kg - 2 355; rotor drive - from base machine hydraulic system; cutters type - hard-alloy with fixation; control - electric joysticks.
Basic model of the mulcher is equipped with such features as:
- Effective vibration-noise isolation (sound level no more than 75 dB with the mulcher running);

- Emergency exits on top and side of cab;
- Hydraulic push frame with rails.
