The state program included JSC "Orsha tool plant", where the production of tools that are not currently produced in Belarus will be established. "Such instruments are also expected in the Russian market, because now they have to be imported from outside the EAEU," the Chairman of the SCST said. Among the new projects of the state program is the organization of high-tech agro-industrial production of a full cycle of JSC "Belarusian national biotechnology Corporation" (production of closed-cycle amino acids based on innovative technologies). Another important project is the organization of production of led lamps in JSC "Brest electric lamp plant". When included in the state program, the priority was the projects of V and VI technological structures. "Another important criterion is domestic technology. The head of state set a task for us to make maximum use of our scientific and technical potential and use Belarusian developments,"-said Alexander Shumilin. It is planned that the number of new high-tech jobs created under the state program of innovative development will exceed 10 thousand.
The state program also includes six new measures for the development of innovative infrastructure. "GKNT is working on the creation of technoparks - platforms for the development of small and medium-sized innovative businesses. In 2017, we created four technoparks. Measures to create new innovative infrastructure facilities are also included in the state program," said the Chairman of the SCST. "In 2017, the II Congress of scientists of Belarus was held, at which we defined the strategy of scientific, technical, innovative development of the country in the long term. Decree No. 8 on the development of the digital economy was adopted. All this is reflected in the state program of innovative development of Belarus for 2016-2020. It includes areas related to the digitalization of the economy. It is planned to develop such areas as additive technologies, biotechnology, robotics, electric transport," Alexander Shumilin added.
