An investor from the UAE intends to implement a project for the production of matches in the Netherlands

15.10.2019. An investment project for the production of matches is planned to be created in Postavy, the administration of FEZ "Vitebsk"reported. "The possibility of implementing this investment project is being studied by a company from the UAE. Now there is a coordination of preliminary documents on its registration as a resident of FEZ "Vitebsk". In parallel, a business plan is being developed, " the administration noted. It is planned that the new production will be located on the vacant areas of the up "Plant Belit". At the first stage, more than $3 million will be allocated for its creation, at least 25 jobs will be created. The project intends to export the entire volume of products to African countries.

Currently, 48 investment projects are being implemented on the territory of the free economic zone "Vitebsk", including 23 with foreign capital from 15 countries. This year, six organizations with a total declared investment of at least $50 million and the planned creation of about 260 jobs received the status of a resident of the FEZ. At least three more investment projects are expected by the end of the year. Companies with capital from Sweden, Spain and Estonia are registered for the first time. The volume of investments by FEZ residents for 9 months of this year amounted to Br100, 9 million (121.1% compared to the same period in 2018). The projects with the largest investments are implemented by Alliansplast LLC, Modern-Expo LLC, energokomplekt LLC and Belkarolin LLC.-
