The average employment in micro-, small and medium enterprises, including the number of individual entrepreneurs and employees engaged by them, in 2017 was 1 442 thsd persons (33.5% of the total national employment).
The sales revenues of small and medium-sized business entities made up BYN 123 bn in 2017, which is 42.8% of the total national revenues.
The contribution of small and medium-sized business entities in GDP for 2017 was 24.7%, where small business entities accounted for 14.9%, medium-sized business entities accounted for 6.7%, and individual entrepreneurs accounted for 3.1%.
