According to the diplomat, 21 documents were signed during the visit. "The specificity is that the conditions of trade are created. And everything is aimed at this, and not at signing specific documents. It is the creation of favorable conditions", - said Kirill Rudy.
He cited the example that an agreement was reached with one of the provinces of China to provide support from local authorities to railway transportation from Belarus to China. This will make them not only competitive with other rail transport, but even more competitive than Maritime transport. "This is an important condition that will push our exporters to sell more, because the movement by rail is three times faster than by sea," the Ambassador explained.
The customs procedures for rail transport on the China-Europe route through Belarus have also been simplified. In 2018, Belarus processed more than 300 thousand Chinese containers, which is an order of magnitude more than a few years ago. Accordingly, there is a potential for further development of work in this direction.
