Russia invited Belarusian business to manage companies "abandoned" by Europe

The Ambassador of Belarus to the Russian Federation Dmitry Krutoy said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel that a list of businesses "abandoned" by Europeans has been compiled in Russia and Belarusian entrepreneurs can be involved in managing them. According to the diplomat, the Belarusian side is most interested in the production of chemical and paint industry, machine-building components.


About 950 foreign companies have left the Russian market, and these are only large ones. The Ministry of Industry of Russia has compiled a list of, let's say, abandoned businesses by Europeans. Now we will receive this list, and our Russian colleagues have offered our large and medium-sized businessmen to participate in the management of the companies that have remained.

The Ambassador also noted the influx of Russian investments into the Belarusian economy and added that partnerships are being built in the field of import substitution. Niches have opened up for the supply of domestic products to the conveyors of large Russian enterprises that need to replace the components of manufacturers that have left the market.
