It should be noted that in 2017, Belarusian and Russian scientists carried out eight scientific and technical programs of the Union state, including three new ones ("Spinal systems"; "development of the Union state hydrometeorological security system"; "DNA identification"). A number of new programs of the Union state in the field of high technologies are in the stage of coordination. They include development and introduction into production of mobile locators, fiber optic systems, sensors for the prevention of natural and technological disasters, systems design and production-level schemas 90-65 nanometers, technologies of highly productive agriculture and focused on improving citizens ' health food industry, as well as developments in the field of additive technologies and the production of modern industrial and home 3D printers.
The main directions of formation and functioning of the single scientific and technological space of the Union state prepared in the framework of the programme of action of Russia and Belarus on the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on establishing the Union state of Belarus and Russia, and also in accordance with the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Union state on the establishment of the Commission on the formation of the common scientific-technological space of the Union state. The first meeting of the Commission was held in Minsk in November 2017. According to its results, approved the rules and work plan, formed industry subcommissions, developed criteria for determining the degree of readiness of the concepts of scientific and technical programs of the Union state (to improve their technical level, quality and competitiveness). The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for the end of June in Moscow.
