Assessing what he saw at the exhibition of the Belarusian industrial forum, Vladimir Semashko emphasized the active development of electric transport in The country, both electric buses and cars. "The plans are 40-70 thousand cars to produce and sell, — said the Deputy Prime Minister. — We now encourage the consumption of electricity. Developed a program to absorb the resulting surplus, including through the promotion of electromobility".


At the same time, Vladimir Semashko stressed that a draft decree has been prepared, involving measures to increase sales of electric vehicles. "I think in the coming days it will be submitted to The presidential Administration. But we also need to create the infrastructure of charging stations. So that they are located at intervals of no more than 100 km, " the Deputy Prime Minister added.

As it is known, in 2019 it is planned to launch the first block of the Belarusian Nuclear power plant, the second block should work by the end of 2020. In this regard, this year Belarus refused to import electricity, its production from its own sources will cost the country less.
