Belarus copes well with coronavirus - representative of the World Health Organization

30.03.2020. Belarus is coping well with the coronavirus at the moment. This was stated by the official representative of the World Health Organization, Margaret Harris, in the program "Contours" on the ONT TV channel. "I can say that you are doing a great job in Belarus at the early stages. You don't have any deaths, you have recovered - and this is a good sign. It is important that there are enough trained qualified doctors. As far as I'm aware, you have all the safety precautions enabled primarily for those who work. You can test people and you can isolate them in hospitals. But the main goal is, of course, to slow down the development of the virus. And you are coping", said Margaret Harris.

The who representative also touched on the topic of Economics. "It is very important to keep the economy running as much as possible. And many countries now understand that this is a necessity. Of course, this is a crisis, a health crisis, but life must not stop. Businesses, companies-all must stay afloat. You just need to adjust the mode, " said Margaret Harris.
