Vadim Bogush: personnel customers should be involved in updating it-technologies of universities

01.05.2018. Customers ' personnel need to be involved in updating IT-technology universities. This opinion was expressed by the rector of the Belarusian state University of Informatics and Radioelectronics Vadim Bogush during the scientific-practical conference "Digital transformation of education" in Minsk. Vadim Bogush was one of the main speakers, giving a definition of what includes the digital transformation of education and what it depends on. "We are talking about the external conditions in which everyone has to live, associated with the change of the digital field, the emergence of new channels of communication, training options. These are the things that affect not only the organization of the educational process, but also the conditions of human life," explained Vadim Bogush.

The introduction of digital technologies in the educational process, in his opinion, is one of the easiest things. "Digitalization in General is going at a high pace. A more problematic task is to keep the modern information environment up to date. In high school, this mechanism cannot be effective unless we engage customer personnel in the process, - says Vadim Bogush. - The penetration must be deep. All technoinnovations should come to the University as quickly as possible. And the development of the University-as quickly as possible to go to the enterprise. Maintaining this modern level is a task that must be solved with the personnel of the customers."

As for schools, the calculation will be made, obviously, on public-private partnership. For this purpose, a relevant legislative framework is being prepared. "On the other hand, there are serious developments associated with the creation of information and educational environment that would be accessible, safe and interesting to all participants in the process," he concluded.

According to Vadim Bogush, the conference on this topic is one of the first steps in the process of digital transformation of education. Therefore, it is not intended to give answers, but to formulate questions.
