Vladimir Ulakhovich: Belarus and Armenia should develop industrial cooperation

12.03.2020. Belarus and Armenia should develop industrial cooperation. This opinion was expressed to BelTA by the Chairman of the Belarusian chamber of Commerce and industry Vladimir Ulakhovich before the meeting of the Armenian Ambassador to Belarus with representatives of Belarusian business circles. "In cooperation with Armenia, we need to take into account its capabilities not only as a country with its own market, but also as a country with which to promote jointly produced products to the nearest markets. Cooperation is possible in such areas as mechanical engineering, woodworking, and food production. Industrial cooperation for our countries is the development and introduction of new technologies, providing logistics and marketing support for the promotion of products of Armenian enterprises to the market of the European Union, and Belarusian-to the markets of neighboring countries, " he said.

Another strategically important area, in his opinion, is cooperation in the IT sphere. "Belarus and Armenia have a good Foundation in this direction. The IT sphere is developing according to its own rules, but making it an interstate platform for cooperation is a very serious topic that we could implement, " Vladimir Ulakhovich stressed.

Also, according to the BelCCI Chairman, Belarus and Armenia should strengthen cooperation in the scientific sphere. "This sphere is very highly developed in our countries. And there are already developments that can be put into production today, " he believes.
